Catherine Trillo’s millinery is the culmination of a lifetime of sewing and a love of fabric and colour.  Her bespoke hats combine these loves with elements of sculpture, texture and design, all of which come together in individual creations for her clients.  She works with each client to develop a hat to complement them and their chosen outfit and to suit the occasion for which the hat is to be worn.

Catherine came to millinery late in life when her children started school.  Her training has been varied with courses at the City and Islington College, London College of Fashion and with continuing drop in classes with Rose Cory, former milliner to the late Queen Mother.

Over the past twenty years, Catherine has had commissions for hats to be worn at the Queen’s Garden Party, the Opening of Parliament, the Lord Mayor’s Show, Ascot, Goodwood, Henley; weddings, funerals, christenings, private views and many more different events.  All Catherine’s hats are handmade and individually designed with a traditional feel and attention to detail.  Commissions range from hair accessories, fascinators, bridal and period costume, to classic women's hats and men's felts and summer panamas.
